Jack Mills Stewart's Obituary
Committed husband, devoted father, loving brother and cherished grandfather, Jack Mills Stewart went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 20th, 2011.
Jack was born April 2, 1925 in Benbrook, Tarrant Co. He attended school in Gladewater, TX and served in World War II.
He is preceded in death by his parents John S & Bertha Barnes Stewart, brothers, Harold, Charles, Jerry, Frank, Larry, and John S Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Helen Stewart, his sister, Joyce Stewart Smith of Beaux Bridge, La, daughter and her husband, Jackie & Curtis Allen, granddaughter, her husband and their children, Dane, Cassie, Peyton & Addison Sullivan, grandson, Blake Allen of Tulsa, Ok and a number of nieces and nephews.
Devoted to our country he served in the U S Navy from 1942-1946. He was stationed on the USS Laffey, USS Guadalupe and USS Los Angeles and discharged as a Petty Officer 2nd Class.
He was a truck driver for Mississippi Chemical for several years before becoming the manager of the terminal until retirement in 1995.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Woodland Hills Baptist Church building fund.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 25 at Radar Funeral Home.
