Funeral services for Jack Harmon Howell, 76, of Longview will be held at Noon Monday, February 9, 2009 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Bro. Jay Griffin and Bro. Randy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM Sunday, February 8, 2009 at the funeral home. Mr. Howell was born on October 21, 1932 in Frankston to Isaac Arlen and Catherine Jewell Howell. He attended and was a graduate of Frankston Schools. He was a supervisor for Longhorn Ammunition Plant with over 40 years of service. He was also a member of the First Assembly of God in Longview. Mr. Howell enjoyed many things in life, including, fishing and golf, but enjoyed nothing more than watching his grandchildren play ball and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patsy Howell of Longview; children and their spouses, Kenneth and Elizabeth Howell of Temple, Reagan and Terry Howell of Longview, Gary and Sarah Howell of Houston, and Jan and Jonathan Frost of Gilmer; grandchildren, Stefanie Howell, Dennis Howell, David Howell, Mark Howell, Cody Howell, Justin Frost, Lakyn Frost, Wade Frost, Meagan Howell, Erin Howell; six great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Lindsey of Palestine; and brother, Bill Howell of Mt. Enterprise.
