Jack H. Ford's Obituary
Jack Henderson Ford, 83 years of age, passed away on April 3, 2019, at home in Longview, Texas. He was born October 2, 1935, in Hallsville, Texas, to Richard Henderson Ford and Annie Pearl Reynolds Ford.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother little Jimmy, sister Juanita Slayback, and brother Richard Ford, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Ila Rhee Williams Ford (Sweet Angel Cupcake). They were married on November 12, 1975. He is also survived by his step-daughters Melba McAteer (Charles) of Longview, Peggy Lancaster (Tom) of Corpus Christi, step-sons David Small, Jerry Small (Jan) both of Longview; grandchildren Stacy McAteer, Chad Lancaster, Chelsie Lancaster, Rebecca Lancaster; great-grandchildren Brooke McAteer, Quinnlin McAteer, Ronan McAteer, Ila Lancaster; great-great granddaughter, Adelynn Padgett; sisters Dorothy Branch (Jimmy), Linda Satterwhite; brother Douglass Ford (Kathy); niece, nephews and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 7, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview with burial immediately following at Cain’s Cemetery in Hallsville, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society may be made.
