Jack Edward Dines
Funeral services for Jack Edward Dines, 73, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend David Reeder officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. He passed away Tuesday, April 23, at his residence in Longview.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Dines was born May 31, 1939 in Ft. Worth to Arthur and Inez Frazier Dines. He was a longtime resident of Longview and a former resident of Marshall. Mr. Dines was a retired designer at General Dynamics, formerly Vertex. He was a former employee of Morton Thiokol and ABC Auto Parts.
He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey Jenkins Dines; parents; and older brother, Alfred Lee Dines.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Richard Alan Dines of Barstow, CA; son, Randy Edward Dines; daughters, Teri Bennett and Virginia Dines of Ft. Worth; step-daughter, Nelda Northcutt and husband Bobby of Diana; step-son, Charles Jenkins and wife Kelly of Longview; grandchildren, Alex Calderon, Jamie Long, Jeremy and Jason Dennis; step-grandchildren, Christopher and Nicholas Northcutt and Audrey Nicole Jenkins; great grandson, J. B. Long; and step-great grandson, Lane Garrett Northcutt.
