Steve, Karen, Shaefer, and all the Sides,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. No one would ever let him retire because he had what few people have these days: integrity and honor.
Ps 116:15 says that "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." May God show you His comfort and healing in these and the difficult days to come.
Your father may have built his last building on earth, but I'm sure he's giving pointers on building the mansions in heaven!##imported-begin##Ted Nicholson##imported-end##

Steve and family,
So sorry to hear about your Dad. going to my Sunday School class is not going to be the same. He was always sitting there to tell you "Good Morning". Just know I have you in my prayers.

J.P. was my grandmother Doris's brother, I was always excited to go see my great uncle J.P. He and Aunt Alice were always so nice. He was one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He will be greatly missed but I know he is up in heaven right now and happy to be reunited with Aunt Alice. My condolances go out to all of those who held him dear.##imported-begin##Adelia Jones Williams##imported-end##
I remember going to work with my Daddy Bobby Helpinstill/East Texas Acoustical and seeing Mr. Sides on the job sites. He would give me and my sister a quarter everytime we saw him. I was always excited when Daddy would tell me "we might get to see J.P. Sides" and it just wasn't because I wanted the quarter! I am blessed to have those memories of Mr. Sides from 30 years ago. May God be with you all during this time.##imported-begin##Sally Helpinstill-Mann##imported-end##

Just wanted you to know we are keeping your family in our prayers.##imported-begin##David Duncan##imported-end##
Steve and Family,
Losing both parents so closely together leaves a vacant place in your hearts; I know. Was impressed with Dad's buildings in town--didn't know. Hope you celebrate Christmas joyfully as well as other holidays including Mothers and Fathers Day--so special now. Thoughts of a good friend and family.##imported-begin##Gay Allen##imported-end##
