Ivor Jean Bell's Obituary
Funeral services for Ivor Jean Bell, 85, of Longview will be 2 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Calvary Tabernacle with Pastor Charles Chargois officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home. There will also be services 2 PM Wednesday at Abundant Life Church in Silsbee, Texas with burial following at R. S. Farmer Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday starting at 1 pm.
Mrs. Bell was born on May 4, 1928 in Village Mills, Texas to Ivor and Gladys Skinner. She married the love of her life R. P. Bell on May 23, 1946 in Fred, Texas. She was a homemaker but served alongside her husband in the ministry for 64 years. She was a member of Calvary Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Raymond Edward Bell and her sister, Dorothy Cooley.
She is survived by her husband, J. P. Bell; her daughter Brenda Baugus of Houston; daughter-in-law, Charla Lewis of Diana, Texas; her brothers, James Skinner, Douglas Skinner and Donald Skinner and her sister, Joanne McFarland; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
