Ismael Elias Olivarez Morales' Obituary
Our beloved son, brother, and father went to be with the Lord and his mother, “Pe,” on May 31, 2024. Ismael Elias Olivarez Morales passed away in his home in Longview, Texas, after a long and courageous battle with an illness and can now rest in peace. He was born to Luis and Lupe Morales on November 13, 1971, in Port Hueneme, California, but called East Texas home.
After graduating from Robert E. Lee High School, class of 1991, he went on to acquire a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from LeTourneau University in 2012. He was the proud owner of Morales Tax Service #2 in Longview.
First and foremost, Elias was a devoted father whose children were his everything. He was a man of faith with a wide variety of interests and hobbies. His favorite pastime was driving fast – either his motorcycle or his Ford Mustang. He loved music and his taste ranged from hard rock and metal to mariachi. As a drummer in his high school marching band, Elias developed a lifelong passion for playing drums. An avid sports enthusiast, he was a loyal and die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Elias is predeceased by his mother, Lupe Morales. He is survived his father, Luis Morales, siblings, Luis Morales, Jr., Carolyn Morales, and Alexis Morales-Williams, and cherished children, Leila Morales and Mason Morales.
His presence will be profoundly missed by his family and friends, but his memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
