Isabel J. Myers' Obituary
Funeral services for Isabel Myers, age 78 of Henderson, will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday September 27, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Henderson with Rev. David Luckert officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson. Mrs. Myers was born April 23, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York to Stephen Kentana and Isabel Krey and died September 24, 2011 in Tyler.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving is her husband David Myers, brother Steve Kent, daughter Celeste Fish and husband Steve, son Keith Henderson, grandsons Chris Henderson, Bryan Nations, and Brent Nations.
Isabel Myers loved life and always had a smile on her face. She cherished her children, grand children, and pets. She expressed this in everyday life with her loving, optimistic attitude. She enjoyed expressing herself artistically by painting, playing piano, and practicing ballet. So much so, that she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1984. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church Choir and the American Art League.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
