Iris Lilia Moon's Obituary
Graveside services for Iris Lilia Moon, 90, of Longview, will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 18, 2005 in Malta Cemetery in Malta, Texas with Reverend Kenneth Mills officiating.
Iris was born April 14, 1915 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Hugh and Ida Sapaugh. She passed away Friday, October 14, 2005 at a local care facility.
Mrs. Moon had been a resident of Longview for 10 years coming from
DeKalb, TX. She was a member of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
Iris was preceded in death by her parents; husband Loy J. Moon; brothers, Orvis J. Sapaugh and Floyd Sapaugh; sisters, Audrey Sapaugh Thomas, and Blanch Sapaugh Henderson.
Surviving Mrs. Moon is her son and daughter in law, Walter and Judy Moon of Longview; daughter, Juanita Moon of Chula Vista, CA; brother, Thomas Blaine Sapaugh of Fouke, AR; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6-7:30 PM.
