Irene Sweaks' Obituary
Funeral services for Irene Sweaks, 86, of Longview, will be 12 Noon Friday, June 8, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview, with Reverend Dick Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
Mrs. Sweaks went to be with her Lord Wednesday morning in a local hospital.
She was born July 25, 1920 in Texarkana, Arkansas and had lived in Longview for the past 63 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Spring Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son: Tommy Sweaks and wife Linda of Longview; sisters: Ernestine Etter of Oklahoma City and Jackie Femelat and husband Clem of Longview; grandchildren: Tim Sweaks, Chris Sweaks and wife Jennifer, Andy Sweaks and wife Karen, Mark Turner and Renee Albright, all of Longview; great grandchildren: Blain Sweaks, Reagan Sweaks, Amarah Sweaks, Ashton Sweaks, Kaden Sweaks, Kendall Sweaks, Aaron Turner, Sarah Turner, Jacob Delaune and Taylore Delaune, also a number of nieces and nephews and many friends.
