Mass of Christian Burial for Irene Jordan Nuchia, 88, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Thursday, August 12, 2004 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with the Father Mark Dunne officiating. A rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM prior to the Mass. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Park?s Chapel Mausoleum under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday evening, August 11, 2004 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nuchia was born on March 22, 1916 in Brookeland to Wesley and Ella Jordan. She passed away on Monday evening, August 9, 2004 in a Longview nursing facility. She was a homemaker a member of Beta Sigma Phi, active in the Newcomers Club, and a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church.
Mrs. Nuchia was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Joe Nuchia of Longview; daughter, Jo Ellen Case of Longview; grandchildren, Carolyn Clark and Courtney Case, both of Longview; and several nieces and nephews
