Irene B. Eastland's Obituary
Services celebrating the life of Irene B. Eastland , age 98, of Henderson will be held at 10:00am Friday December 21, 2007 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Tommy Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Rusk County Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Eastland passed away at her home Tuesday December 18, 2007.
She was born February 2, 1909 in Texarkana, Texas to Allison H. & Sarah Bearden Moon. On December 19, 1934 she married John William Bill Eastland who preceded her in death. They were married for 58 years. She was a homemaker, and a charter member under the Brush Arbor at Eastside Baptist Church where she taught the Beginners Sunday School Class for 22 years. She was lovingly known to everyone as ?Memaw?.
Survivors include son & daughter-in-law Billy T. & June Eastland of Henderson, daughter & son-in-law Nelwyn & Bob Richardson of Henderson. Grandchildren Rex T. Eastland, Barton Arndt, David Eastland, Bobby Richardson, Justin Richardson, Stacey Green, Cheryl Jennings, and Lisa Clayton. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, and her special caregivers Viana Scoggins, and La Nell Ross.
Pallbearers will be Ervin Daugherty, Doyle Green, Jim Medford, Robert Scoggins, Ronnie Martin, Eddie Hodges, Sam Harris and Robert Porter.
The family visitation will be held Thursday from 5 ? 7 pm at the Funeral Home.
