Iona Richardson's Obituary
Iona Richardson passed away in her loving home surrounded by family on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Longview, TX.
Iona was born to Forest and Lucy Lovell on March 26, 1933 in Walnut Springs, Arkansas. She was happily married for 66 years to Omajean Richardson and together they owned and operated Gene's Grocery Store and Meat Market for over 40 years. They were know to many by Mr. & Mrs. Gene and loved deeply by the community they served.
She is survived by her children Charlotte Richardson Miller and Suzie Richardson; grandchildren Tracy Miller Works, Mark Miller and Hailey Miller Davis; great grandchildren Brooke Works Portera, Austin Miller, Riley Kerr, Matthew Works, Taylor Davis and Cason Davis; great great granddaughter Skylar Portera; son-in-law Jim Miller; grandson-in-laws Jason Davis and Blake Gillen; great grandson-in-law Zack Portera.
