Just met Inell about a year and a half ago. Very nice woman. Did some landscaping for her since she at the time was getting ready to relocate. Invited me and my boss in for ice tea. I have never in my life seen a house as immaculate as hers. Beautiful home. And she told me how proud she was of her grandson. The pilot. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. Such a kind cheerful lady. RIP Inell.
Inell was like no one I had ever met. We met in the summer of 1977 when I returned to work from maternity leave. We worked together at Texas Bank and Trust. She taught me sooooo much about life and people. She always saw the good in people and never judged or thought she was better than them. She was my supervisor but my very best friend as well. We shared some wonderful times together and some not so great times. But no matter how long it was between take or visits, we picked back up from where we left off. I know she and James are having a wonderful time in heaven! I will always treasure my friendship and love with this very special lady. We will see each other again my beautiful friend ❤️❤️❤️
I met Inell when I went to work part-time at Texas bank & Trust. She was my supervisor. We had such a great team. Georgia Rooney, Barbara Bingham, Glenda Pearce and many others. We laughed a lot. We became friends and shared many good times. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, my friend told me not to worry as she would be there for me. And she was, from surgery to recovery and prayer. She brought me to Jesus. Many years of love, laughter and memories we shared. I had never experienced the love she gave me. I always felt so loved. I will miss her the rest of my life. No one will ever replace her for me. I loved her so much.
Inell was such a huge, bright, beautiful soul! She had a way of making you feel like you were the most important person in the room to her and that there was no place else she would rather be than right there with you! Her brilliant smile lit up the whole room. I feel lucky to have known her! She was one of the most beautiful souls I've ever known.
Aunt Inell was the most amazing lady! I knew I would always be welcomed with the biggest smile and a great big bear hug! She always had encouraging words and wisdom to help me when I was going through difficult situations. She was someone you could count on and someone that loved you enough to tell you the truth even when it might not be something you wanted to hear. She was a true and loyal friend. She was a woman of integrity. A woman who loved God with all her heart. She was someone that was willing to drop everything to help people when they had a need. She had a heart overflowing with love and joy for others. Aunt Inell, I love you so much and I thank God for allowing me the privilege of having you for my aunt. Inell and my sister, Georgia Rooney, worked together my years at Longview Bank and Trust. She was always such a joy to see, and when I would run into her, even recently, She would ask about my wife and children by name, she genuinely cared and loved my family, Georgia included. I will miss her tight caring hugs and huge laughter. I can hear her now, praising Jesus. My Love and Prayers to the entire family.
Inell was my dear sister cousin who I loved with all my heart. There are too many good memories to even begin to share. James came to the campgrounds on Lake Palestine where we were camped one time and asked at the office what space we were in. Mrs. Grubbs told him to go outside and just follow the laughter. That was us. We took care of each other in good times and bad times. There is a huge hole in my life now
One thing I am sure about, heaven has a new angel with a happy heart and a large wing span and they're probably adorned with a few bangles.
To Inell Scotts family from Robbie and Caryn Stewart (cousins). We send our deepest condolences and prayers for the entire family. Inell was always such a force of nature and always so pleasant. She welcomed me (Caryn) into the Stewart family so many years ago and I felt like I always belonged. She was a sweet lady, always with a laugh and a smile and a story to tell! She will be greatly missed.
