Hugh Raymond Glezen
Hugh Raymond Glezen went to be with his heavenly father, Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Hugh was born January 31, 1937 in Gilmer, TX and graduated from Pine Tree High School. He married Patricia Ann Rhodes on July 24, 1962. He served in the United States Air Force and had retired from Trinity Industries in 2007. Hugh enjoyed fishing, telling stories of the past, and sports.
Hugh was a member of Mulberry Springs Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Letha Lloyd; father, Raymond L. "Bill" Glezen; and step-father, Elbert Lloyd.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Patricia Ann Glezen; son, Michael Glezen and wife Debbie of Tatum, daughter, Michelle Leftwich and husband Shannon of New Diana, son Randy Glezen of Longview and son Raymond Glezen and wife Sandra of Hallsville; sixteen beautiful grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings, Billy Gene Glezen, Tommy Glezen, Lynda Greathouse, Lanna DuLaney, Ann Fletcher and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Rader Funeral Home of Longview. In honoring Mr. Glezen's wishes, cremation will follow.
