Hugh Carruth passed away after a 3-month illness on February 18th. Born in De Queen, AR on 12/4/1936. While growing up in De Queen he began his lifelong love of the outdoors by joining the BSA. He attained the rank of Eagle Scou Read Obituary
I went to high school with Hugh In DeQueen many years ago. I am one of the Craig twins and I moved here in 1986 from Dallas. I was In the band and was homecoming queen in 1954. I volunteer at the hospital and saw where Hugh was in there. I am so sorry for your loss.

Spent many a Sunday morning on the golf course with Hugh and enjoyed every moment, He was a fierce competitor and a joy to be around in the “nineteenth hole”
Hugh was the best he helped us get many vehicles. He will be missed by many.
