Hugh W. Brownlee's Obituary
Graveside services for Hugh W. Brownlee age 83 of Henderson will be held Saturday April 4, 2015 at 11:00am at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home. Mr. Brownlee was born May 17,1931 to John and Verda Brownlee in Sand Hill, MS and died Thursday April 2 in Huntsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 60 years, Opal. Mr. Brownlee was a self employed plumber and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a Air Force Veteran having served in the Korean War. He is survived by sons Michael and Steve Brownlee and daughter Laurie Vineyard, as well as their spouses, Linda and Sherry Brownlee, and Charlie Vineyard. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, Aaron and wife Sara, Chris and wife Joie, Andrew, Katie and Husband James Foster, Cody, Sean, and Courtney, also surviving is a brother Jack Brownlee and sister Clara C. Walley. He also leaves behind many beloved friends at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Brownlee, Chris Brownlee, Andrew Brownlee, Cody Vineyard, Sean Brownlee, James Foster, and John Blake.
Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Friday night at the Funeral Home.
