Howard W Hartman's Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Howard W. Hartman of Henderson, Texas will be held at 10:00am at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson with Bob Payne and Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mr. Hartman died Monday, May 27, 2013 in Henderson, Texas at the age of 96 years old. He was born April 30, 1917 in Dayton, Ohio. He was employed by the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad for 37 years before retirement.
Family will receive friends from 9:00-10:00 am Thursday morning before services at the funeral home.
Mr. Hartman is preceded in death by his parents, John A. Hartman & Lulu Warner Hartman; his wife of 68 years, Betty Hartman; son, James R. Hartman; 4 sisters & 1 brother.
Mr. Hartman is survived by son, David & Patricia Hartman of Minden, TX; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Hartman of Jefferson City, Missouri; 3 granddaughters, Dana & Graham Smith of Rapid City, SD, Heather & Kelly Thomas of Carson City, NV, & Rachel & Jason Larson of Tyler, TX; 1 grandson, James H. Hartman of Minden, TX; 7 great-grandchildren; & 1 sister, Esther Stoelting of Louisville, KY.
