Dearest Peggy,
I can't believe what I just read. I'm devistated, just as you are. I had grown to love Howard as a grandfather. I'm so very sorry for this great loss. Micki and I will be traveling soon and will make a point to stop and see you. God bless.
Howard dedicated his life to God, his family, his friends, the community, and others. As a result, the lives of countless people in Longview, the East Texas area, and the state have been enriched. Even though he is no longer with us, his legacy will live on forever in all those whose lives he touched. May God's blessings bring peace and comfort to Peggy, the children, family and friends of this special man. We will miss him.

We will certainly miss the precense of Mr. Coghlan in our restaurant. He was a true Gentle Giant that always had the nicest things to say to everyone. You just knew he was a real man of God.
