He never failed to ask about each of our children every time we were together. We will miss him soooo much!
I always remember my Grandpa's cute smile, and how he loved chocolate covered cherries, cashews, and his little poodle Millie. He always loved to tell endless stories of "the good old days". He always made sure that his family knew how much he loved us. The last year of his life, he often spoke of how he was ready for God to take him home. I know he he having the time of his life, walking the halls and gold streets of Heaven instead of a nursing home, and being able to hear and carry on lots of converstions! Maybe God made a special lake full of fish for him so he can fish for eternity, and maybe he even gave him back his little dog Millie! Whatever God has for my Grandpa in Heaven, I know it is better than anything my Grandpa could have ever dreamed of! He will be smiling now, for an eternity! Love and miss you Grandpa!
