Hollis Conner
Hollis Conner, 95, of Longview passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 in a Longview hospital. In honoring her request, cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview and there will be no formal public services.
Mrs. Conner was born one of twelve children on May 14, 1918 in Mountain Park, Oklahoma to Caswell and Fannie Webber. She was a hairdresser for 23 years and a member of the First Christian Church of Longview. A wonderful Mother, Granny, Ninny and Toddie, she had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and make others laugh. She loved her family and loved life to the fullest. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters; and 6 brothers.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Diane Humphrey of Longview and Sandy Smith and husband Bob of Pflugerville, TX; grandchildren, Sloane Bodle of White Oak, Brett Humphrey and wife Elizabeth of Austin, Kristi Clarey of Austin, and Shelly Smith of Austin; great grandchildren, Bradley Bodle of Houston, Brenna Bodle of White Oak and Slade Humphrey of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Good Shepherd Medical Center third floor medical services and to the nurses and staff of The Clairmont for their tender loving care.
