Hester Michalek's Obituary
Memorial services for Hester M. Michalek will be this weekend at Big Valley Cemetery in Goldthwaite Texas.
Hester went to his eternal home after a long illness on the morning of June 4, 2008. He was born in Bishop Texas July 15, 1925 to Bertha and Frank Michalek.
Hester joined the USMC at the age of 16, after his return home in 1945 he met and married Roberta Robertson of Goldthwaite Texas his wife of 61 years. They settled in Bishop Texas where Hester worked for Celanese Corp as a safety engineer, sold real estate, and ran the family farm . In later years he worked for Factory Insurance Assoc. and ended his career as a Petroleum Landman for Phillips Conoco.
He was preceeded in death by his parents and two sisters. He survived by his wife Roberta, one son David George Michalek and his wife Leigh Ann; grandchildren Brook Nicole and Marc Dube of Austin Texas . Coby and Kacie Jo Michalek of Henderson and a host of nieces and nephews family and friends
