Herbert "Herby" Latham
Funeral services for Herbert "Herby" Latham, 68, of Longview will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 9, 2008 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend Ken Archer and Reverend Leon Veazy officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the funeral home. Mr. Latham was born on March 29, 1940 in Longview to Garland and Era Latham. He passed away on April 6, 2008 in a Longview nursing facility. He served his country with the US ARMY. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church and was a truck driver for the city of Longview. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Betty; and brothers, Albert Latham, James Latham, Bobby Latham. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Joey and Angie Latham of Lyons, GA., Ronnie Latham of Longview; 3 grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Ken Morgan of Longview; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Patricia Latham of Gladewater; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
