Henry Whyte's Obituary
Graveside services for Henry Whyte, 90, of Hallsville, will be held at 10 AM Friday, April 6, 2012 at Noonday cemetery in Hallsville with Brother Danny Warbington officiating. Mr. Whyte passed away Tuesday night in a local nursing home. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 PM.
Henry was born on October 31, 1921 in Harrison County, Texas to Herbert and Maudie Whyte. He proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army as a Corporal, serving two years overseas. He loved being outdoors fishing and hunting, and especially gardening.
Mr. Whyte was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are wife of 63 years, Nellie Whyte; his children and their spouses, David and Stephanie Whyte, Betty and Randy Alfred, Bonnie and Marcelino Rodriguez, and Glenda and Jerry Stegall; 9 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
