Dear Jo, Nathan & Caroline,
We just now learned this sad news about Henry and we want you to know that our heartfelt prayers are with you all. We, unfortunately, were never able to get to know Henry as well as we knew you, Jo. You have always been "like family" to us and to the Marshall Johnson family.
I always imagined Henry to be your special, constant inspiration and the "wind beneath your wings" as Merritt is mine. Although we have lost touch in recent years, you have been in my heart and on my mind so very often. You and I became close friends when we worked together at FBC Longview so many years ago. You often spoke of Henry and I began to feel that I knew him. I also knew in my heart why he loved you so much. You have always been so precious to your family and friends and I believe this is only one reason Henry loved and admired you. I will also never forget when Nathan and Caroline were born. God blessed you both with His Gifts of your children and also your grandchildren.
Merritt and I admired you and Henry for the special servants of God that you have always been. We both love you and your family so very much and we are so sorry that we were unable to attend Henry's Service. You're probably aware that we now live in Horseshoe Bay near Angela, her sweet husband and our only grandchild, Heath, who is currently in college.
Our love and prayers are with you all and we pray that God's Love and Peace will comfort and sustain you every day.
Diane & Merritt Johnson
