Henry F. Fountain's Obituary
Graveside services for Henry F. Fountain, age 88 of Henderson, will be held Friday August 5, 2011 at 9:00am at the Glenfawn Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Pepper officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home in Henderson. Visitation will Thursday from 6pm until 8pm at the Funeral Home.
Mr. Fountain died Wednesday August 3, 2011 at ETMC Hospital in Henderson.
Henry was born May 16, 1923 in Cushing to Doc and Mamie Fountain. Mr. Fountain grew up in the Glenfawn Community , where he attended and graduated from Laneville High School. Henry served in the U.S Army where he was a corporal, and worked
in the auto, truck, and tractor parts business.
He was preceded in death by a son Don Fountain, his parents, sister Frances McKnight, brothers W.D. and Floyd Fountain.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years Louise Gibbs Fountain of Henderson, daughter Zona Fountain of Henderson, daughter-in- law Carol Fountain of Cushing. Grandchildren; Joe & Ann Fountain, Jonathan Fountain, Freddie Fountain, Logan Fountain, Tanner Fountain, Raven Fountain, Robin Fountain, Aric Fountain, Keegan Fountain. Great grandchildren; Rachel & Randy Hudman, James, Jon, & Jacob Gonzales. One great great grandchild, Kaden Gonzales. Sisters Shirley Thompson & husband Robert, and Katherine Risinger. Special nieces; Kathy DeLaPaz, Starla Ivy, Dee Cruz,
and Carolyn Risinger.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Cruz, Steven Arreguin, Dusty Arreguin, J.R. Arreguin, RustyArreguin, Dennis Owens, and Glenn Boatman. Honorary pallbearers will be Honey Owens, Marvin Jones, Henry Truelock, Mark Ivy, and Dean Risinger.
