Henry A. Brennion's Obituary
Memorial services for Henry A. ?Dutch? Brennion, 82, of Longview, will be 10 AM Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dewayne Beaty officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mr. Brennion died suddenly Saturday, October 26 in New Orleans, LA while on a trip visiting his granddaughter. Born August 5, 1920 in Jamaica Plains, Massachusetts he was a longtime Longview resident. He had worked for the Sears, Roebuck and Company before joining Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and selling insurance for the remainder of his working years.
A United States Navy ?Seabee? Veteran, Mr. Brennion served in the South Pacific from 1942 to 1945. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he volunteered on Wednesday to help with the benevolent society. He was a member of the Longview Symphony League and was an active charter member of the Longview South Rotary Club, where he was a Paul Harris Fellow and had over 25 years perfect attendance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rose Brennion and his sister, Agnes Brennion.
Survivors include his wife, Jen; son, Bryan and wife, Priscilla Brennion of Longview; daughter, Martha Brennion-Nease and husband, Don Casto of Tenaha, Texas; grandchildren, Kimberly, Kelly and Karlye Brennion and Henry Martin Nease; Sister, Terry Lyons of Kingston, Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Longview Symphony League or to the American Heart Association.
