Funeral services for Helen Yvonne Thomas, 85, of Longview will be 3 PM Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Dick Lindsay officiating. Entombment will follow at Rosewood Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Thomas passed away late in the afternoon on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
She was born August 15, 1927 in Quitman, Texas to Orys Lee and Lutie Grice
Hayes. She graduated Golden High School in Golden, Texas and was a former bank
teller having worked for several Longview banks through the years. She was a longtime member of Mobberly Baptist Church. She was a she was a wonderful strong Christian lady who loved her Lord. She enjoyed antiques and was always picking up something else to join her collection.
She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Marshall Thomas, son and daughter-
in-law, Rolan Mikeual and Laura Perritt. Daughter, Carolyn Sue Phillips, her sister,
Orys Lyneeta Fields and her step-son, Marshall Thomas, Jr..
