Helen Jones Adkisson's Obituary
Funeral services for Helen Jones Adkisson, 77, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, June 6, 2011in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum under the direction of Rader Funeral home of Longview. Mrs. Adkisson passed away Monday morning in Longview. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Helen was born on December 25, 1933 in Harleton, TX to C.C. "Buck" and Leola Jones. She loved her family and took great pride and joy in caring for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Adkisson, 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Max Adkisson of Longview; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark Adkisson and Carmela Davis of Longview; her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and David Bagley of White Oak; 10 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; one brother, Johnny Jones; and one sister, Beatrice Jones.
The family request that memorial donations be made to Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House, 5016 Gilmer Rd. Longview, Texas 75604; or to Longview Cancer Center, 1400 North 4th ST, Longview, Texas 75601.
