Helen Lillian Howell's Obituary
Helen Lillian Howell, age 88, of Longview passed away March 5, 2015 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler. She was born December 18, 1926 to Clarence and Josephine Blakeley in De Kalb, Texas. It was there Helen attended local schools growing up.
Helen had two loves in her life, her family and cooking for her family. She was a faithful member of the Valley View Baptist Church in Longview.
Those left to cherish her memory are her 3 sons, William Howell and his wife Donna, James Howell and his wife Connie and Robert Howell and his wife Hellen, Also many grand, great grand, great-great grand children and step grand and great grandchildren, sister Joan Adams and her husband Bill and their family and sister-in-law Peggy Blakeley.
Helens husband Samuel Leigh Howell, her parents, brothers Bill, Buddy and Clarence Blakeley II, and sister-in-law Jean Blakeley all precede her in passing.
There will be a time of visitation at Rader Funeral Home in Longview Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 6pm-8pm then graveside services will be the next day, Monday, March 9, 2015 in the mausoleum at Rosewood Park in Longview at 2pm.
