Helen Carmen Fordham's Obituary
Graveside services for Helen Carmen Fordham, 63, of Henderson will be 2:00pm Thursday December 1, 2016 at Zion Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Gatlin officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3-5pm at Rader Funeral Home. There will also be a memorial service at 2pm Saturday December 3, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Cary officiating.
Helen was born April 20, 1953 in Houston to Rimal Lee Greiner and Edith Maude Greiner. She passed away November 23, 2016 in Henderson. She was a Military Wife’s Auxilary, a homemaker, a mother, a grandmother, a seamstress, a carpenter, a quilter, a soap maker/creator, a wood crafter, she raised livestock and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Helen married Daniel F. Fordham July 19, 1974 in Aransas Pass and they were married 42 years.
Mrs. Fordham was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Harold “Butch” Greiner; a niece, Tanya Sellers King; Aunt and Uncle, Rose and Vernon Moses and a grandson, Patrick Edward Fordham.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel F. Fordham of Henderson; daughter, Hillary M. Fordham of Henderson; son-in-law, James J. Ziglar of Henderson; son, Jacob K. Fordham of Arp, daughter-in-law, Jamie R. Fordham of Arp; sister, Vigina Dablos of Forney; sister, Sharon Seller of Henderson, son, Richard Wombler of Houston, son, Philip Rose, Jr. of Maybank; daughter, Jennifer Kortcamp of Midlothian and a grandson, Anthony Murray of Henderson.
Pallbearers will be Richard Womble, Philip Rose, Jr., C. Anthony Murray, James J. Ziglar, Jacob K. Fordham and Nathan Sellers. Honorary pallbearers are all of Mrs. Fordham’s grandchildren.
