Helen Faye Hammett Funeral services for Helen Faye Hammett, 72, of Gladewater will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Longview First Church, 1901 Alpine, with Pastors James Renfro, Jr., Michael McGuire, and James Renfro Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in White Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She went to meet Jesus on Friday, March 21. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the church. Mrs. Hammett was born March 1, 1936 in Gregg County, Texas to Herman and Mary Ann Miller and was a resident of the Gregg County area for most of here life. She was a homemaker and co/owner and bookkeeper of H & S Lawn Service in Gladewater. She was a member of Longview First Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Ronald Dean Hammett, Jr., and sister, Louise Twilley. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Ronnie Hammett of Gladewater; children, Billy Wayne Hammett and wife Donna of Jesup, GA and Roger Lee Hammett and wife Beth of Gladewater; grandchildren, Michael Hammett and wife Joni, Ron, Brandon, Charles, Cameron, Robin and Alyssa Hammett; great grandchildren, Levi, Layni and Ryan Hammett; special niece, Gayle Garner of Lake Cherokee; numerous other nieces and nephews; and sister Bobbie Reynolds of Gladewater.
