Helen Davis' Obituary
Funeral services for Helen Davis 92, of Hallsville, will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2012, in the Chapel at Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Winterfield Cemetery. She passed away Friday, September 14, 2012. Visitation will be from 2 – 5 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2012, at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis was born February 29, 1920, in Cleveland, OH, to Mr.& Mrs. Stanley Bawol.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, W. F. Davis.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Bill Davis and wife Edith, of Dallas; Daughter, Darlene Beard, of Hallsville; Grandsons, Gordon Cooper and wife, Melissa; Lloyd Beard and wife Kris; Jason Beard and wife Betty; Granddaughters, Nancy Lea Manning and husband Gary; Bridget Anderson and husband Chad; Janice Shed and husband Steve, & Connie Morgan and husband Brandon. 15 Great Grandchildren, 2
Great Great Grandchildren; & Sisters, Rose Ostrowski, & Cay Minadeo, both of Brevard NC.
Mrs. Davis worked hard all her life, even when she did not have to. She worked in the Longhorn Army Ammunition plant in Karnack, the Archway cookie factory in Longview, and at Prowler travel trailers in Longview. She loved to fish, work in her garden and spend time with family.
