Helen J. Brumley's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Helen J. Brumley, a cherished soul and beloved matriarch, who departed this world peacefully at home on May 30, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on April 18, 1939, in Marshall, Texas, Helen's journey through life was one filled with grace, love, and a deep commitment to her family and community. She met and married the love of her life O. Dean Brumley, spending 66 wonderful years together.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mamie Rowe, daughter, Sherry Emmons, and granddaughter, Kelly Walsh. Helen is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, O. Dean Brumley, son, Martin Brumley and wife Tina, daughter Renae Emmons and husband Carl, son, Kevin Brumley and wife Stacy, granddaughters, Tiffany Wooten, Kimberly Zuniga, Chloe Brumley, grandsons Christopher Brumley, and Ryan Walsh. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
As the family mourns her loss, they also celebrate the fullness of her life — a life enriched with the love of family, friends, and community. Helen's legacy will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, forever inspiring them to carry forward her spirit of generosity and warmth.
In this solemn moment, let us remember Helen not with sadness, but with a profound appreciation for the light she brought into our lives.
