Helen Ann Plunkett's Obituary
Graveside services for Mrs. Helen Ann Plunkett, 73, of Hot Springs Arkansas will be held at 4:00PM Saturday September 9, 2006 at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Doyle Sumrall officiating, under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Plunkett passed away Thursday evening in Little Rock, Arkansas after a long illness.
Mrs. Plunkett was born April 5, 1933 in Newport Arkanasas. She married Joe Plunkett of Henderson in 1952 and moved to Texas where she worked for many years in management for and abstract and title companies in Corpus Christi, and in Fort Worth. She served as vice president of Pioneer Title Company in Fort Worth. After she retired, she and Joe moved to
Hot Springs where they lived for seventeen years. She enjoyed traveling, camping in their RV, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was know for her quick wit, and her optimistic sprit, and her love of
life. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Mrs Plunkett was preceded in death by a son Tommy Plunkett. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Joe Plunkett of Hot Springs Arkansas, Daughter JoAnna Cornwell and husband Mike of the Woodlands, and daughter Susan Richeson and husband Tom of Aliso Viejo, California. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Chelsea Cornwell of College Station, Shelisa Richeson and Dylan Richeson both of Aliso Viejo. She is survived locally by sister in law Sue Wooster and husband Tony of Henderson, and Bill Plunkett and wife Sarah of Longview.
