Funeral services for H.B. Armstrong Sr. age 89 of Henderson will be held 2:00 pm Friday December 26, 2008 at Rader Funeral Home of Henderson with Rev. Billy Paul Cain Officiating. visitation will be from noon till service time at the funeral home. H. B. Armstrong Sr. was the son of the late Jeff and Bessie Armstrong and was born in Henderson Texas on March 10, 1919 and went to be with the Lord on December 22, 2008. In January 1984 he was united in marriage with Patsy Armstrong. H.B. and Patsy were a beautiful and fun loving couple who enjoyed each others company. He was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Henderson was a Christian man who loved the Lord. H.B. was a happy, quick witted man who loved to camp, ride his tractor and tend to his animals. He also enjoyed his Monday morning trips to the auction to be with his friends. His family life was his passion. He had a happy and full life and his family will always remember him the best when they are laughing and having fun. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife Patsy Armstrong of Henderson, Children, Myrna and Cotton Smith of Good Springs, Betsy Armstrong Smith of Henderson, Eddie and Patricia Armstrong of Henderson H.B. Armstrong Jr. and his wife Vickie of Henderson. Lee and Evelyn Lewis of Henderson, Jackie and Kip Lewis of Henderson, Michelle and George Barak of Good Springs and Tracy Lewis of Henderson.14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 great great at grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Davis, Justin Burt, Patrick Lewis, Timmy Brooks, Brandon Armstrong, Robert L. Smith. Honorary Pallbearers Odell Poovey, Harold Poole, John Poole, Shawn McGee.
