Funeral services for Oline Miller, 83, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2011 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverends David English and Dewayne Beaty officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. She passed away Sunday, February 6, at her residence in Longview.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Miller was born November 26, 1927 in Shreveport, LA to Wiley and Amy Gay and had been a resident of Longview since 1968. She was a 1945 graduate of William Adams High School in Alice, TX was a former bookkeeper at Longview High School. She was the organist for the businessmen?s Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church and a longtime member of the choir. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Unforgettable Tuesday?s at the Greggton United Methodist Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 58 years, Norman Miller of Longview; children, Amy Anderson and husband Philip of Longview and Allan Miller and wife Micki of Bettie, TX; grandchildren, Kristi Cruthirds and husband Ryan of Hewitt, TX, Michael Miller of College Station, Brad Knight and wife Jannon of Longview, Kelly Knight of Longview, Kevin Miller and wife Alaina of Gilmer and Andee Poteet of Jackson, TN; great grandchildren, Madilynn Bohn, Pierson Cruthirds and Jackson Knight; and sister-in-law, Wildeanna Scott and husband Charlie of Gilmer.
