Hazel Moore Weems' Obituary
azel Moore Weems was born July 28, 1911 at Rogers, Milam County Texas to William Levi "Lely" and Minnie Jordan Moore. On February 3, 1934 she was married to William J. "Bill" Weems at Rogers. They had two daughters, LaGrace and Elizabeth. During their married life, they lived in Temple, Texarkana, Abilene and Longview.
Hazel was a member of Alpine Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill, an infant sister and her sister, Grace Horstmann of Austin; and son-in-law, Lewis Bradford of California.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law; LaGrace and Don Barkman, and Elizabeth Bradford all of Longview. Three grandhcildren and spouses: Diane Barkman Thompson and Danny of North Richland Hills. Russell Barkman and Stephanie of Wilmington, North Carolina. Roger Barkman and Jennifer of Fort Worth. Eight great grand children; Barbara Goodnight of Austin, Margaret Goodnight and Logan Thompson of North Richland Hills; Jonathan and Kathryn Barkman of Wilington, North Carolina; and Nicholas, Andrew, and William Barkman of Fort Worth. Sister-in-law; Mrs. Ruby Weems, Temple.
Services will be conducted by nephew, Rodger Weems of Grand Prarie assisted by Rodney Cox. Services will be at Rader Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday, March 17th at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM.
