Hayne Barclay Morrow's Obituary
Hayne Barclay Morrow was born August 7, 1936 in Lone Pine, Texas, a small community between Crockett and Lovelady, Texas. He passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020. He had the honor to have been born to parents Ona Mae and Hayne W. Morrow of Crockett. Hayne Barclay was born in the same house his father was born in. Graduated at Crockett High School. He was a part time sack boy for Piggly Wiggly and trained to be a butcher, which he went to work for Brookshire Bros. and as soon as he graduated from high school he went to work for Safeway and continued to work for Safeway until they closed. After 31 years of service, he went to work for McKesson Corporation for 11 years until his retirement in 1999.
Preceded in death were both parents Ona and Hayne W.; sister Rosemary; daughter Pamela Sue Morrow; his children’s mother Beatrice Jeannette; father-in-law and mother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Tommy McCarson of Longview.
He is survived by his wife Gayla Ki Morrow; daughters Cindy Lou Jones and Jayne Wise; son-in-law Jerry Wise; grandson Keenan Morrow Wise; sister Carolyn Faye Ginn of Stafford; niece Cristen Ginn of Stafford; guardian daughter Bertha Miltner and her fiancé, Ricky Frazier of Dallas. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview at two p.m. on Saturday January 2, 2021. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
