Hattie Rodgers' Obituary
Hattie Faye Pevey Rodgers, 76, of Winnsboro, Texas, also known as “Big Momma”, passed away on
May 20, 2018 in Winnsboro, Texas. She was born in Longview, Texas and was a longtime resident.
She was a cafeteria worker at Hallsville and Longview ISD for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas Barry Pevey and Roberta (Bobbie) Pevey and a son,
Chris Rodgers.
She is survived by her children JB & Debi Rodgers, David & Patricia Rodgers, and (daughter-in-law)
Susan Rodgers. Also, her sister Virginia Pevey. Grandchildren: Justin Rodgers, Megan Rodgers,
Jake Rodgers, Brandi Maines, Mandi Davis, Josh Craig, Timothy Rodgers, James McTyre, Amanda
Davis, JD Rodgers, Thomas Rodgers, Keeley Barr, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 24th, at Rader Funeral Home located at 1617 Judson Road,
Longview , Texas, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held on Friday, May 25th, at The Church
At West Mountain located at 6259 Hwy 271 S, Gilmer, Texas. Graveside will be held at Grace Hill
Cemetery located at 601 W Marshall Ave, Longview, Texas. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
