Harry Lee Ingram Jr.'s Obituary
Harry Lee Ingram, Jr was born in Henderson, Texas on May 19, 1942. He graduated into heaven on Saturday March 28, 2026 under Hospice Care at Regional Hospital in Longview, Texas. Harry was 83 years young and resided in Kilgore, Texas.
Harry was multi-talented even though he lost his right hand in a job-related accident when He was in his 30’s. Harry retired from Continental Can in Longview in the 90’s and started his own business in building and repairing computers.
Harry was also a highly accomplished and recruited trumpet player and loved the free-style trumpet method. He was also selected to play the trumpet in the US Navy Band during his military service and played His trumpet on highly skilled worship teams.
Harry was a husband, father, veteran, musician, band director/teacher, and accomplished fisherman. Harry loved being on the lake in the boat, casting a rod, and displaying his fishing skills.
In his later years, more than anything, Harry loved being with family. It didn’t matter whether it was around the table, in the living room or even while he was napping on the couch. He loved knowing we were all together and all doing well.
Harry was also a devoted Christ follower. He was a member of several churches in the Longview area and spent many years at New Covenant, and LifeBridge Christian Center as a faithful member.
Preceded in his death were his sister, Linda Hawkins, sister Bonnie Ingram and his beloved mother, Lillie Belle Ingram.
Harry is survived by, His wife Madonna Ingram of Kilgore, daughter Scarlet Baron, and husband, Tom Baron, daughter Charlotte McDaniels, and husband, Thomas, son Michael Ingram and wife, Tammy Ingram, son, Patrick Ingram and wife, Christi Ingram and many adorable grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Family Directed Celebration of his Life will be Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Network 411, 5760 FM-1845, Longview, TX starting at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers please feel free to give a donation to the Longview Dream center.
