Harold A. Whaley
Graveside for Harold A. Whaley, 84, of Gladewater will be held at Ten O'clock AM Tuesday June 1, 2010 at the White Oak Cemetery with Reverend G. A. Stanfield officiating. Interment will follow at the White Oak Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Whaley passed away Thursday May 27, 2010 in Gilmer.
He was born June 27, 1925 in Cotton Valley, Louisiana to R.A. and Lucy Medley Whaley. He was a Welder and attended New Zion Non-Denominational Church .
He is survived by his two daughters, Doris Lawson and Dean French both of Timpson, Texas, sister, Sandra Campbell of Lake Conroe, Texas, brother, Gerald Whaley of Searcy, Texas, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday May 31, 2010 from 3-5 pm
He was preceded in death by his parents, R.A. and Lucy Whaley, sisters, Helen White and Geneva Birdsong, and brother, Arbury Whaley.
