H. T. Lynch's Obituary
Funeral services for H.T. ?Buddy? Lynch, 86, of Longview will be 10 AM Tuesday, October 20, 2009 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Reverend Rita Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. Mr. Lynch passed away Saturday evening in a local nursing home. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-7 PM.
Mr. Lynch was born on January 25, 1923, in Dallas Texas to Thomas Everett Lynch and Leona Lynch Wilson. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps where he trained fighter pilots during WWII. Mr. Lynch began his career with Union Pacific Railroad in 1941 and retired as District Sales Manager in 1983. He was a member of Winterfield United Methodist Church and was a member of the Masonic Order for more than 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Norma Caldwell and June Grimes.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Virginia; 2 children, Linda Martin and Richard Lynch; 3 grandchildren, Kristen Cramer and her husband Bill, Craig Martin and his wife Elizabeth, and Jennifer Correa and her husband Romeo; and 6 great grandchildren, Joshua, Jordan, Kara, Peyton, Sean, and Cameron.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Summer Meadows and to Heart?s Way Hospice for the wonderful and loving care they provided.
