Gwendolyn Louise Francis' Obituary
Gwen Francis, 81, of Longview, passed away on August 18, 2023. Gwen was born on March 4, 1942, in Wynyard Saskatchewan Canada. Gwen is survived by her husband Jim, they were married for 59 years.
Jim and Gwen met in high school in Arcola Saskatchewan and raised their two daughters, Lea and Karen in Don Mills Ontario, Montreal, and then back to Scarborough Ontario in 1976.
Jim and Gwen were transferred to Houston Texas in 1986 with Jim’s career and had made Texas their home ever since. In 2018 they chose to spend their retirement in Longview Texas.
Gwen is also survived by Lea Francis-Littlejohn & James Littlejohn, Karen & Goran Kvrgic, her brother Tim Goodman and his wife Kathleen, and her grandchildren Alex, Daniella, Nicholas, & Halaina.
