Services for Grace Lockhart , 84, of Longview will be conducted 2 PM Thursday, November 10th at the Rosewood Mausoleum Chapel with chaplain of Buckner-Westminster Place Dr. Rick Webb officiating. Entombment will follow at Rosewood Mausoleum under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Lockhart died Monday, November 7th in Longview.
Grace was born June 1, 1921 at Oglesby, Texas to Walter and Nancy Elizabeth Pennington Hanover. A former resident of Sulfur Springs, she had resided in Longview since 1950. She was a homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Longview, and was co-owner of Texas Furniture Company.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, J.E. ?Jim? and Elizabeth Lockhart of Longview; her daughter, Nancy Lou Lockhart Ellis of Rockport; her grandchildren, Alicia Lockhart of Shreveport and Glynn Ellis and his wife Carrie of Litchfield, Arizona and great grandchildren, Nick and Kristen Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, J.E. ?Jimmy? Lockhart, Sr.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Longview or to Asbury House at 320 S. Center Longview, Texas 75601.
