Glynna McClintock Clark's Obituary
Glynna McClintock Clark, age 89 of Longview went to be with her Lord and Savior on the 30th of January, 2024, at home surrounded by family. Glynna was born October 28th 1934 to Glynn and Alpha Bell McClintock in Kilgore Texas.
After graduating from Principia Boarding School she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she was a proud Kappa Delta. Throughout high school and college Glynna had an active social life where she filled out multiple dance cards at all of the banquets that she attended. She was an integral part of all her campuses serving on pep squads and starring in multiple plays and musicals with a beautiful soprano voice. Soon after university, Glynna married and moved to New York City where she had her first job as a social worker. She was drawn to social work because of her heart for people and the ability to see ways forward for them. She later moved to Dallas where she became an accomplished artist, a talent she inherited from her mother. Later she moved back to Kilgore with her family. After her husband passed away Glynna became a Million Dollar Producer with Realty World in Kilgore and in her later years worked again as a social worker. She enjoyed her work but she had two loves; Jesus and her family. She was a long-time member of Alpine Church of Christ and was a rock for her family. Glynna was a lovely woman who lit up the room when she walked in and never turned down a sweet treat. She leaves behind a legacy of Godly wisdom and kindness and is missed immensely.
