Glyn H. Moore's Obituary
Services for Glyn H. Moore , 77, of White Oak will be 2 PM Monday, December 12th at the Greggton Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Voss and Rev. Noah Lee officiating. Burial, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Henderson. Mr. Moore went home to be with the Lord early Friday morning, December 9, 2005.
He was born July 31, 1928 in Carlisle, Texas to Bob and Eva Moore. Mr. Moore retired from Texas Eastman in 1986 and spent the remainder of his years lovingly taking care of his wife, daughters and grandchildren. He raised his family while active at Longview Missionary Baptist Church, serving as Deacon, Sunday School teacher and song leader. In 1999 he and his wife, Nancy, became members of the Greggton Missionary Baptist Church where he continued to serve in these capacities. His love for his family came second only to his love for his Lord and Savior.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Collier Moore of White Oak; one brother, James Winslow Moore of New York City, and three daughters; Jane Blevlins and husband, Danny, of Cleveland, Tennessee, Jill Tyner of White Oak, and Joy Cameron and husband, Howdy of White Oak. Mr. Moore also leaves behind the biggest joys of his life, his grandchildren; Ty Glyn Tyner of Austin, Texas, Angela Blevins Laws and spouse, James of Cleveland, Tennessee, Colt Glyn Cameron and Colby Cate Cameron of White Oak.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Eva Moore, his brother, Kenneth Moore, and son-in-law Ronnie Tyner.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday, December 11th at Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
