Gloria Vickery Chandler's Obituary
Funeral services for Gloria Vickery Chandler, 76, of Longview, will be 10 AM Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church of Longview, with Reverend Jonathan Jehorek officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Garden.
Mrs. Chandler went home to be with the Lord December 1, 2001 in Dallas, Texas.
A native of Hartwell, Georgia, she was born June 17, 1925 and had lived in Longview since 1955 moving from Toccoa, Georgia and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a home-maker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Chandler was preceded in death by her loving husband; James I.Jim Chandler and a son; James O. Chandler. She is survived by a son: Alan Chandler and his wife Judy of Longview; Daughters: Faith Chandler of Houston and Brenda Chandler of Longview; Brother: Ed Vickery and wife Carol of Kennesaw, Ga.; Sister: Irene Danforth and husband John of Atlanta, GA; Grandchildren: Jay and Stephanie Chandler, Jes-sica Albrecht, Jeffrey and Eric Chandler; Great-granddaughter: Raven Chandler.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday, December 4, at Rader Funeral Home.
