Funeral services for Glenn Elliot Saunders, 70, of Glenwood Acres will be held at 2 PM Friday, February 27, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend John Wallingford officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mr. Saunders was born on March 18, 1933 in Memphis, Texas to Elliot and Lorean Saunders. He passed away on Wednesday, morning, February 25, 2004 in a Longview hospital.
He was a retired electrician.
A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Mr. Saunders was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by wife of 49 years, Glenda Ferrell Saunders of Glenwood Acres; children, Michael Glenn Saunders of Cedar Park, Melonie Gwyn Pearson of LaPorte, Mitzie Gaylene Lester of Longview, Melissa Gayle Saunders of Long Beach, WA.; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Lola Cathey of Amarillo, Zelda Smith of Amarillo, Odessa Lindley of Meade, KS.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
