Funeral Services for Glenda Corbitt Wooten, 59 of Prairieville, LA, formerly of Longview will be held at 10 AM Saturday June 4, 2005 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, with Scott Schulik officaiting. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The Family will recieve friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday June 3, 2005 at the funeral home.
Glenda was born in Pittsburg, to Raymond and Fayrene Corbitt on Novemebr 17, 1945. She was a graduate of East Texas State University, where she recieved her teaching degree and went on to teach elementary school throughout the world. She married Randy Wooten on September 9, 1967 and they began a life of traveling the world together through the United States Air Force.
Glenda was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband; daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Joey Poche of Prairieville, LA.; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Rebecca Wooten of Charlotte, Nc.; her mother, one sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn Simpson and Roger Caster of Longview; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Judy Corbitt and Gerald and Kim Corbitt also of Longview.
Glenda the "Good Fairy" loved her family and friends dearly. Her blue eyes always had an extra special twinkle when she was surronded by those that she loved and those that loved her.
